Pat and her husband Tom moved to Prescott in July 2013. They live about 20 miles northwest of town. Her husband retired from the Los Angeles Police Department as a Commander after serving 33 years. Pat joined Republican Women of Prescott (RWOP) shortly after moving to Prescott. In February 2021 she became a member of Granite Mountain Republican Women serving as Armed Services/Caring for America chair, Newsletter chair and Secretary. She has served on the Bylaws, Nominating, and Ways & Means Committees as well. She is currently a member Prescott Valley RW.
Much of Pat's career was in medical sales as a territory manager for Southern California, Arizona, Las Vegas, and Hawaii. She specialized in chronic wound care dressings and kits & trays. After retiring in 2000, she returned to school to pursue "fun" interests; floral design, photography, ceramics, drawing, etc.
After moving to Durango, CO in 2003, Pat became involved in the community serving on the board of the Durango Arts Center and the Durango Friends of the Arts (DFA), a 501c3 non-profit. DFA’s purpose was fundraising to provide grants to performing and visual arts organizations. She served on the DFA board for 10 years including, 2 years as president. In 2012 she accepted the position of Executive Assistant to the General Manager and Membership Coordinator at The Glacier Club, a private golf club/community in Durango. Pat also began her hobby in jewelry design while in Durango. She continues to work on refining her skills in silversmithing in her spare time. Pat was a founding member of "Style 'N' Stones" a group of jewelry designers who held a yearly charity jewelry sale benefiting different 501c3 charities in Durango, CO for 20 years.
Pat enjoyed serving as Republican Women of Prescott President in 2018 and 2019. It was not only rewarding; it gave her experience in Club leadership. Pat served as AzFRW Region V Director in 2018-19 and 2020 through February 2021, representing this one club region at the state level. In 2016 & 2017, she served RWOP as 4th VP/Communications. During her term as Communications VP, Constant Contact was incorporated as RWOP's newsletter and email vehicle. With the help of two very generous RWOP members, they were able to design and launch a new website. Other positions held include: Club photographer, Ways & Means Committee, Bylaws and “Big Event” (fundraising event) committees.
In February 2021, Pat transferred to Granite Mountain Republican Women. As GMRW was part of Region I, she resigned as AzFRW Region V Director. In October 2021, Pat was elected 2022-23 Region I Director and served AzFRW in this capacity. She was elected President of Arizona Federation of Republican Women in October 2023, for the 2024-2025 term, and was re-elected to serve as 2026-2027 AzFRW President at the 2025 AzFRW Convention. Pat also served on the NFRW Achievement Awards and Fundraising Committees in 2024-25.
Pat is very detail-oriented and takes her responsibilities seriously. She was honored to design a custom pendant for AzFRW for one of NFRW online auctions. She often donates custom jewelry for several AzFRW, club and community fundraising events. Pat also creates a custom Patriotic Angel Pendant for AzFRW each year that is raffled to Patriotic Angels only at the last meeting each year.
